With the completion of the new Mill Woods Transit Centre, a future stop on the LRT’s Valley Line, new possibilities are opening up for Mill Woods. We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be part of that evolution – with our most recent acquisition of Mill Woods Town Centre.
Following our Garneau Project and The Parks development, this will be our third major active Edmonton transit-oriented infill project in Edmonton. We envision a future where Mill Woods Town Centre is a lively, transit-oriented community hub that offers more options for housing, employment, shopping and socializing in Mill Woods. Sitting at the heart of the neighbourhood – with the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Mill Woods Public Library, two high schools and several places of worship nearby – this is a place with unique potential to connect the community.
We will complete a master plan, creating a comprehensive plan that will guide the redevelopment of the property. Inspired by the City Plan’s vision of 15-minute communities, our goal is to support the Centre’s existing tenants while adding new housing that will bring more activity and density to the area.
