  • Focuses primarily on financial modeling and analysis of real estate investments
  • Conducts comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow projections, ROI calculations, and risk assessments

  • Performs market research and analyzes trends to identify investment opportunities
  • May be involved in underwriting tasks, such as evaluating loan applications and assessing borrower creditworthiness 

Real Estate Asset Analyst

  • Specializes in the ongoing management and optimization of real estate assets
  • Focuses on market research, data analysis, and revenue forecasting for existing properties
  • Works on structuring leases and rental agreements to attract tenants and reduce vacancies
  • Collaborates closely with property managers to ensure efficient property operations
  • Develops and executes investment strategies for real estate portfolios 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of funding and grant opportunities, real estate investments, including cash flow projections, ROI calculations, and risk assessments
  2. Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, development projects, and existing assets
  3. Perform market research and analyze trends to identify investment opportunities and potential risks
  4. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, investors, and other stakeholders
  5. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans for real estate assets
  6. Monitor and report on the performance of existing real estate investments
  7. Conduct due diligence for potential acquisitions and development projects
  8. Collaborate with other departments to support strategic decision-making and portfolio management
  9. Evaluate and analyze property financials, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  10. Assist in the valuation of properties using various methodologies
  11. Coordinate development planning with consultant organizations

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate finance or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • In-depth knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with real estate investment and development processes
  • Experience with real estate software and databases
